Hon'ble Mr. Justice P.B.Bajanthri: Born on 23rd October 1963. Studied in Vidhyavardhaka Sangha, K.L.E. Society and S.J.R.C. Law College, Bangalore. Enrolled as Advocate on 1990 and Practiced in High Court of Karnataka, KAT, CAT and Educational Authorities. During 1993 - 94 appeared as a KPSC Standing Counsel. Appointed as Notary by the Government of India in May 2006. Appointed as an Additional Judge of the Karnataka High Court on 02.01.2015. Transferred as an Judge of High Court of Punjab and Haryana on 16th March 2015. On transfer to Karnataka High Court, His Lordship took oath as Judge of Karnataka High Court on 17.11.2018. On transfer to Patna High Court, His Lordship took oath as Judge of Patna High Court on 20.10.2021.

Patna High Court is the leading High court in India to Computerise Cause List Management System in 1992. We had also taken initiative in successfully experimenting trial of accused through video-conferencing between civil court and Jails of Bihar in 2001.Since 1992 National Informatics Centre (NIC) is working at Patna High Court for extending ICT Support to this Hon’ble Court.

About Patna High Court
The Judiciary is a distinct and independent arm of Government entrusted with judicial authority, and mandated to administer and deliver justice to the people of India. It plays a fundamental role in the promotion of law and order, human rights, social justice, morality and good governance. The independence of the Judiciary is guaranteed by the constitution in a number of its provisions regarding among others, the appointment, removal, salary and other conditions of service of judicial officers. The core of the Judiciary's independence is the absence of any interference for the Executive or the Legislature in judicial decisions. The mandate of the Judiciary is to establish and facilitate effective and efficient machinery capable of functioning as an adjudicating authority in India and of quickly administering and delivering justice and related services to the people of India. The key function of the Judiciary is therefore, the adjudication of civil and criminal cases. In addition, it interprets the constitution and gives effect to its provisions, as well as providing the expertise in interpreting of the laws. Further, the Judiciary performs other related duties in promotion of human rights, social justice and morality.
