The Bihar State Legal Services Authority has constituted a High Court Legal Services Committee in the High Court of Judicature at Patna whose duty is to give effect to the policy and directions of the State Authority and also to provide Legal Services to persons eligible u/s 12 of the L.S.A. Act, 1987; conduct Lok Adalats for the cases pending in the High Court and encourage the settlement of disputes by way of negotiation, arbitration, conciliation and mediation between the parties. A person, who is willing to get Legal Service (legal aid) for cases pending before the Patna High Court can request to Patna High Court Legal Services Committee for legal aid.
